Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj here on Thursday assured the house that action would be taken against a senior officer of the Rural Development Department facing charges of working for a particularly political party from leader of the opposition and former chief minister Omar Abdullah.
According to the KNS correspondent, raising the issue of government, turning a deaf ear to the charges against a senior officer of the Rural Development presently posted in Central Kashmir’s Budgam District.
MLA Budgam Aga Syed Ruhullah reminded the Rural Development Minister Abdul Haq Khan that the issue was raised earlier by former chief minister and MLA Beerwah Omar Abdullah but government didn’t act on the complaint of former chief minister on the floor of the assembly previously.
Replying to the charges of Aga Syed Ruhullah the Minister for Rural Development Abdul Haq Khan told the house “I have full respect for former chief minister Omar Abdullah and it’s not possible at all that I would not act on the complaint of former chief minister. I am accused of transferring officers frequently and I transfer officers on complaints of even common people. I assure the House and the former chief minister and MLA Budgam Aga Syed Ruhullah that action would be taken against the officer immediately.
