Railways delivers 12,630 metric tonnes of LMO in more than 775 tankers across country so far

Indian Railways is continuously engaged in delivery of liquid medical oxygen to various States and Union Territories. The Ministry of Railways has said that Oxygen Express trains have delivered nearly 12,630 metric tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen in more than 775 tankers across the country so far.

The Railways Ministry has said that around 200 Oxygen Express trains have completed their journey so far and brought relief to various States and Union Territories. It said, 10 Oxygen Expresses carrying more than 784 metric tonnes Liquid Medical Oxygen are on run at present. The Railways Ministry has informed that Oxygen Express trains have been delivering more than 800 metric tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen on a daily basis.
