Srinagar: As many as 14000 people die every day due to smoking, and there have been campaigns to make people aware of the health hazards of smoking.

Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Unified Martial Arts (JKAUMA) organised a ‘No Smoking Day’ at Pratap Park Srinagar, to create awareness among children.

The children were asked to never fall prey to the dangerous habit of smoking and also ask their near and dear ones to stay away from smoking. They were advised to turn to healthy activities like sports.

The children who attended the event said that they’ll take the message forward. “We have a lot of things to do for Kashmir. Quit smoking for Kashmir,” a girl stated.
