Following a night-long operation in Pinglina area of South Kashmir in which Army lost four soldiers, the security forces have claimed to have killed the main mastermind of Pulwama attack of February 14.
Two militants, including the IED mastermind, were killed in an ongoing operation at Pingleena area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Four soldiers including an officer of Major rank and three other soldiers were injured in the encounter. A civilian Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat (46) has also been killed during the exchange of gunfight.
Official sources sais that two militants were killed in the operation so far.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police South Kashmir range Amit Kumar sais that two militant were killed in the operation.
He said that the bodies of the slain militants have been recovered along with as many weapons and other war like stores.
