Pulwama Attack: Pay Real Tribute by Donating Money For Bravehearts. Here’s How !

New Delhi, February 15: In the worst-ever terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir since militancy erupted in 1989, nearly 40 personnel of Central Reserve Police Force lost their lives on Thursday. The number of casualties may rise as several soldiers are still battling for life. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to martyrs by observing two-minute silence, you can also pay respects to bravehearts by donating money for their families via Bharat Ke Veer app or online at bharatkeveer.gov.in website.

What is Bharat Ke Veer Initiative? The Ministry of Home Affairs launched the Bharat Ke Veer portal and app in April 2017. The purpose of the website bharatkeveer.gov.in is to enable the public to help the families of soldiers by donating money online directly to the individual braveheart’s account or to Bharat Ke Veer corpus. With the help of Bharat Ke Veer app or portal, you can financially help families of martyrs from Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Sashastra Seema Bal, Assam Rifles, National Disaster Response Force and National Security Guards.

How to donate via Bharat Ke Veer app or bharatkeveer.gov.in website: You can download the application on your mobile phone or visit the website Bharat Ke Veerto make a contribution to support the families of the jawans who died in the line of duty. The monetary contributions made on the website go straight to the bank accounts of martyred soldiers’ families.

Earlier this month, families of 10 Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, four from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), two from the Assam Rifles and one from the Sashastra Seem Bal (SSB) were given Rs 2.5 lakh each. As of February, an amount of Rs 45.32 crore has been received in the corpus of this fund.
