Senior PDP leader and MLC Yasir Reshi Wednesday said that he will resign if the NC leader Mohammad Akbar Lone proved that he is defaulter of the JK Bank.
“I will resign if Akbar Lone proves that Yasir Reshi is defaulter of JK Bank. If he fails then he should resign,” Reshi told KNS outside the assembly.
Yasir termed Akbar Lone “mentally unfit”. “The NC leader should be treated somewhere for his mental illness,” Yasir said.
Yasir was reacting to the statement of Akbar Lone who has termed him defaulter of the JK Bank.
Earlier, Akbar Lone MLA from Sonawari walked out of the assembly over the demand for debate on Non Performing Acc(NPA’s) of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank and the backdoor appointments ordered during last three years by the incumbent chairman Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
According to the KNS correspondent, the demand for debate on NPA’s and backdoor appointments in J&K Bank during last three years was disallowed by Speaker Assembly Kavinder Gupta despite repeated insistence from National Conference members Mohammad Akbar Lone, Abdul Majeed Larmi, Shameema Firdous, Devender Singh Rana and several others.
Mohammad Akbar Lone and others walked out of the house in protest ansrd threatened to expose all the alleged bunglings of J&K Bank particularly the defaulters who are running non performing accounts (NPA’s) and the backdoor appointments ordered during last three years.
