Srinagar: Authorities on Tuesday attached the property of a man who has been arrested earlier this year and is lodged in Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.

Usman Gulzar Wani son of Gulzar Ahmad of Hushangpora Nagabal was arrested during an encounter in the village in Shopian on August 30, 2022 during which three militants were killed.

“During the investigation Zainapora police recovered one SLR, two SLR magzines, and 40 SLR rounds from his possession. He is presently lodged at Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu on judicial custody,” newspaper Daily Excelsior quoted police as having said.

Authorities today attached his house.
