JAMMU: Government of India Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education Friday appointed Prof A Ravinder Nath as Vice Chancellor of Central University of Kashmir.
Prof Nath has been serving as Dean Faculty of Technology, Osmania University Hyderabad.
According to an order, “The President in her capacity as the visitor of Central University of Kashmir has been pleased to appoint Prof A Ravinder Nath Dean Faculty of Technology, Osmania University Hyderabad, as the Vice Chancellor of Central University of Kashmir as per Statute 2 of Central Universities Act 2009 for a term or five years from the date on which he enters upon his office, or until he attains the age of evenly years whichever is earlier.”
The order further read, the terms and conditions of the services of Prof A Ravinder Nath is the Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Kashmir will be those as set forth in the Act, Statutes and Ordinance of the University.
