Prakash Javadekar stresses on need to stimulate innovative thinking among children at early age

Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that nurturing the spirit and culture of innovation, supporting and rewarding new ideas has been a major thrust area of Narendra Modi government.
Speaking at the National Student Startup Meet virtually, Mr Javadekar said that Indians have always been part of many innovations and it is the time we start owning them. He said, without innovation, no development can take place. He also stressed on the need to stimulate innovative thinking among children at early age.
He said, for this, Atal Tinkeing Labs- ATL were started in Schools with a view to create an environment of innovation after the Narendra Modi came to power at the Centre. He said, Atal Tinkering Labs have proved to be very successful initiative and students come with innovative ideas in ATL Olympiad.
