POONCH: The vehicular movement on the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch highway between Bhata Dhurian and Jarran Wali Gali in the Poonch district has been restored on Sunday morning after remaining closed for three days.

Traffic on the highway was closed on Thursday late afternoon after militants attacked an army vehicle near Tota Gali in which five army personnel lost their lives while one is injured.

The highway was lying closed for the last three days between BG and Jarran Wali Gali with traffic diverted through Mendhar. On Sunday morning, officials said the highway has been restored and vehicular movement has been allowed. (KNO)
