RAJOURI: Over 40 persons were detained during Cordon and Search Operations (CASO) across the Pir Panjal region after April 20th attack in which five army personnel lost their lives.

40 people have so far been detained in connection with an investigation of the case, officials said.

Officials said that a security red alert has been issued in twin districts Rajouri and Poonch after the April 20th attack carried out by militants between Bhimber Gali and Bhata Dhurian.

The security forces are conducting massive CASOs in twin districts Rajouri and Poonch in order to track the militants involved in the attack but there was no big development in these operations so far. A police official said that more than 40 people have been detained by police and their questioning is going on—(KNO)
