Police warns people not to venture near encounter site in Pulwama

Srinagar, Dec 22: Jammu and Kashmir police has issued a warning asking people not to venture near the encounter site in Pulwama, where six militants were killed in an encounter by security forces on Saturday.

A police spokesman said that citizens are requested not to venture inside the encounter zone at Arampora in Pulwama here six militants were killed in the encounter.

He said the area can prove dangerous due to stray explosive material.
People are requested to cooperate with police till the area is completely sanitised and cleared of all the explosive material if any, he said.
