Police arrests thief in Uri

On January 19 police station Uri received a written complaint from one namely Owais Ahmad son of Ab Aziz that during intervening night of 18/19-01-2018, burglars barged in the computer institute at Salambad Uri and looted laptop and other items from the institute.
Fir no. 04/18 u/s 457, 380 RPC lodged in p/s uri & investigation set in motion. During course of investigation, CCTV footage got from concerned centre and information by own sources, one accused namely Tanveer Ahmad Thikri son of Bashir Ahmad Thikri resident of Salambad Uri arrested.
During thorough interogation the accused confessed the crime. On the confessions of accused, all stolen items recovered.
Investigation is on and more recoveries are expected from the accused
