PM Modi to address 95th annual meet of Association of Indian Universities & national seminar of Vice-Chancellors on April 14

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 95th annual meet of Association of Indian Universities and national seminar of Vice-Chancellors tomorrow at 11 AM. On this occasion, Mr. Modi will also release four books based on Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s life written by Kishor Makwana. These books are, Dr. Ambedkar Jivan Darshan, Dr. Ambedkar Vyakti Darshan, Dr Ambedkar Rashtra Darshan and Dr. Ambedkar Aayam Darshan.
 
The event is being organized by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Governor and Chief Minister of Gujarat and Union Education Minister will also be present during the event.
 
Association of Indian Universities is a premier apex body of higher education in the country. It is conducting its 95th annual meet this year. During the two days event, the meet will commemorate and celebrate the 96th foundation day of Association of Indian Universities which was established in the year 1925 under the patronage of great leaders like Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
 
A national seminar of Vice-Chancellors is also being organized during the meet. The theme of this seminar is Implementing National Educational Policy-2020 to Transform Higher Education in India. It aims to work out implementation strategies for the National Education Policy.
