People demand boycott of Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Toofaan’, accuses it of promoting ‘Love Jihad’

Some time ago, people wanted to boycott the film because of Farhan Akhtar’s old statement on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), not a section of the society has accused the film of promoting Love Jihad.

What is the fuss about? People apparently have a problem with the interfaith marriage being shown in the film between Aziz and Pooja, played by Akhtar and Mrunal Thakur reportedly.

While some people called it Love Jihad, others said that it was “against our culture.”
