PDP removes Drabu over his Kashmir remarks

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday removed the Finance Minister, Haseeb A Drabu from the cabinet ministers over his recent remarks wherein he had stated that Kashmir is not a political issue.

A senior party leader confirmed Drabu’s removal.
“Anyone that goes against the Party’s manifesto and agenda won’t be tolerated,” Said a Senior Party Leader.

There were reports that the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti may summon Drabu after her return from Delhi. But on Monday, the party sent a letter to the Raj Bhawan informing the party’s decision to remove him.
