Parliament Winter Session: CBI registered 56 cases against MLAs, MPs from 2017-22

New Delhi: Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) informed in Lok Sabha on Wednesday that 56 cases were registered by CBI against MLAs and MPs from 2017 to 2022.

The cases were registered up to 31.10.2022, out of which chargesheet were filed in 22 cases.

The three-week-long Winter Session of Parliament commenced on Wednesday.

While addressing Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar will uphold democratic values as the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. He also congratulated the Chairman on behalf of the House as well as the nation.
