DC Kathua reviews implementation of tribal schemes/ activities
KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rahul Pandey, chaired a meeting of officers to review physical and financial status of tribal schemes/activities being implemented in the district.
At the outset, the DC was apprised by XENs of PWD( R&B) Basohli and Kathua, XEN PHE, AEE REW that financial and physical progress of all taken up works are nearing completion except few which are at their final stages.
It was also given out in the meeting that the School Education department has completed all approved projects in the current fiscal year.
The DC called upon the executing agencies to make all out efforts to complete the works taken up to improve the socio-economic conditions of Tribal Community in the district. He called for achieving financial progress of all approved projects within set timelines to rule out forwarding of liabilities to the next financial year.
The meeting was attended by CPO, District Sheep Husbandry Officer and other concerned officers.
