Over next 40 days, almost entire Modi Ministry to spread across Jammu & Kashmir

Repeating experience of mega public outreach programme of 2020 and 2021, around 70 Ministers including Amit Shah and Rajnath will visit Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: Krishan Pal Gurjar, the Union Minister of State for Power was in Jammu today and this marks the begging of phase III of the mega outreach of Modi Ministry to Jammu and Kashmir.
Repeating the mega outreach experience of 2020 and 2021, over the next 40 days almost 70 Ministers of Modi Government will spread across Jammu and Kashmir. This will be third in series after the unprecedented public engagement campaign in January-February 2020.
A quiet and low profile visit of Kishan Pal Gurjar to Samba district on Monday marked the beginning of the phase III of mega ministerial outreach programme of Central Ministers to Jammu and Kashmir that will continue till the end of June. Gurjar reviewed some power projects, interacted with BJP leaders and some Panchayat representatives.
Over the next 40 days not less than 70 Ministers are expected on similar tours to all 20 distracts. “Every single Minister including Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is on the list”, said a source in the UT Government who is privy to the protocol preparations.
The Ministers, who are scheduled to visit between Monday and Saturday across six weeks may inaugurate some completed developmental projects, inspect the ongoing ones, lay foundations of new ones and interact with members of the public.
With possibility of elections later this year, the outreach programme will heat up the political environment.
