Over 70,000 street lights installed across city: SMC

SRINAGAR: The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) has said that it has installed as many as 70019 street lights so far across the city.

The street lights have been installed in over 74 wards. While the corporation has asked people to contact the provided mobile phone number in case of any complaint about the non-operational street lights.

The corporators here have said the people having any complaint about the defunct street lights should contact on 6006404919. “There is no need to visit the corporate office to get the street lights repaired. The people can contact on the phone number to register their complaint and the issue would be resolved within the shortest possible time,” the corporators said.
