JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha Friday said that our ongoing health research is more focused on reactionary treatment and the share of diagnostic research is negligible.
Sinha made these remarks while addressing the 47th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Blood Transfusion & Immunohaematology earlier today.
LG Office J&K in a tweet said, “One drop of blood covers the entire health universe and I am confident such deliberations will enable stakeholders to refine blood transfusion services in the country”.
“Our ongoing health research is more focused on reactionary treatment and the share of diagnostic research is negligible. We have a huge responsibility to transform the ongoing medical research system and long-term investment should be made in developing diagnostic kits”, read the tweet.
