AWANTIPORA: A militant was killed in a chance encounter that took place between militants and security forces in the Nambal area of South Kashmir’s Awantipora on Monday evening.

A top police officer told that a militant was killed in a chance encounter in Nambal area. However, the identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained. More details will follow soon.(GNS)
