On JRL’s call, Malik leads protest against abrogation of Article 35-A

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik on Friday led a protest march at Gow Kadal here to protest against the attempts being made to abrogate Article 35-A.

The protest call was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.

Scores of JRL leaders marched from Gow Kadal here amid pro-freedom and pro-Article 35-A sloganeering.

Malik while addressing the protesters here said that the RSS backed Modi led government in the state is hell bent to make Kashmir another Palestine by abrogating the Article 35-A.

He also said that the JRL by taking all the stakeholders including traders, houseboat owners, transporters and others will soon issue protest programme against the attempts being made to abrogate the Article 35-A .
