Srinagar, Apr 03: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Sumbal on Saturday ordered closure of Government Girls High Secondary school Sumbal in North Kashmir’s Bandipora for next five days after detection of two fresh Covid-19 positive cases.
Block Medical officer (BMO), Hajin, Dr Aejaz told that out of more than 400 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT), which were conducted in different schools of the sub-division two students of Girls High Secondary School Sumbal have returned positive for the virus.
SDM Sumbal, Bashir Ahmad told KDC that the institution will remain shut for the next five days (including Sunday) as a precautionary measure to contain the further spread of the virus. (KDC)
