Jammu: Noted Jammu medico Prof .(Dr) Abhinav Gupta Awarded Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh FRCP(Edin).

Dr Abhinav Gupta Professor Medicine,Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital Jammu (Batra Hospital)S/0 of Smt Sushma and Ravinder K Gupta has been awarded with Prestigious Fellowship by the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh,Scotland,UK.(FRCP Edin).

In an offical communique released by Secretary Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh Professor Mark W J Strachan (FRCP Edin) dated 12th August 2022, the Fellowship Committe and Council of Royal college of Physicians of Edinburgh in a meeting held on 17th June 2022 decided to elect Fellowship FRCP (Edin) to Prof(Dr)Abhinav Gupta . The Diploma Ceremony will be held most Probably in November 2023 .He is one of the very few young doctors from India who have the distinction of Fellowship of two prestigious Royal Colleges of Physicians.

Recently ,Prof (Dr) Abhinav Gupta has been awarded with Fellowship of International Society of Hypertension (2022),Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow FRCP (Glasg) (2021).Fellowship of International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA)(2022).

Prof (Dr)Abhinav Gupta is also advisor of Public Material Task Force Committee and South and Central Asia(SACA) regional advisory group of International Society of Hypertension. To his credit, he is one of the Co authors of white paper on Lifestyle and Hypertension of International Society of Hypertension which will be released in annual meeting of International Society of Hypertension in Kyoto Japan in October 2022.

He is also one of the commitee members of the Advisory groups of American association of Clinical Endocrinologist like Diabetes Disease State Network,Lipid and CV Health Disease.

He is also Peer Reviewer of International Journals like American association of clinical endocrinologist case Reports and Endocrine Practice ,Journal of Royal college of Physicians of Edinburgh and Diabetes & Metabolic Syndrome: Clinical Research & Reviews(Impact Factor 2.62)..
