Terms reports about death of man after inoculation as baseless

BUDGAM, Apr 22: As reports claimed that a man died after he was inoculated the COVID-19 vaccine in Budgam district, the Chief Medical Officer Budgam, Dr. Tajamul Khan Thursday said that no such death has been reported anywhere in the district.

Pertinently, reports said that a man from Check Pora BK Pora died soon after he received the first jab of COVID-19 vaccine today.

Dr Tajamul Khan told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that no such death has been reported across the district till date. “The reports being circulated are baseless and those who were inoculated with the vaccine are fine,” he added.

Block Medical Officer, BK Pora also said that no such death was reported in the areas falling under his jurisdiction.

He said that he has informed the police about the reports and an investigation has been started into the matter—(KNO)
