NIA moves Delhi HC, seeks death penalty for Yasin Malik; two bench division to hear matter on Monday

NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency has moved the Delhi High Court seeking the death penalty for Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik, LiveLaw.in reported on Friday.

A division bench of Justice Siddharth Mridul and Justice Talwant Singh will hear the matter on Monday.

Yasin Malik who has been convicted in connection with the Jammu and Kashmir Terror funding case was sentenced to life imprisonment by a special NIA court in May last year. He had pleaded guilty in the case and did not contest the charges
