NC MLA warns Govt over ban on mining, extraction of stones in Ganderbal

NC MLA from Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar here on Wednesday warned the government that if the government does not lift ban on extraction of stones for crushing the local youth would be forced to pick up guns.
According to the KNS correspondent, participating in the debate on the motion of grants for the Industries & Commerce department Sheikh Ishfaq Jabar said the government can take royalty from the people engaged with the mining and extraction of stones as usual but the ban has rendered hundreds of unemployed youth jobless.
He hoped that government would wake up from deep slumber to address the issue right in the earnest so that the youth connected with the mining and extraction of stone are not forced to take violent path
