Mughal road to open for traffic movement


SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 08: The Mughal Road connecting Shopian of Kashmir division with Poonch and Rajouri regions of Jammu division was opened today for one-way traffic after being closed due to recent snowfall.

On the occasion District Development Commissioner (DDC), Shopian Choudhary Mohammad Yasin said that the vehicular movement will give a sigh of relief to the locals particularly the traders’ community of both the regions.

He said that authorities looking after the Mughal Road have been directed to fast track the repairs and restoration of damaged road patches as early as possible so that people experience smooth travelling experience.

Deputy Superintendent of Traffic, AE, Mechanical, and other concerned accompanied the DDC.
