In Madhya Pradesh, children of unorganised labourers will be given free admissions in colleges under the Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan (Shiksha Protsahan) Yojana i.e. Chief Minister public welfare (education encouragement) scheme.

A decision to implement free higher education scheme (Nishulk Uchcha Shiksha Yojana) 2018-19 in all the government universities, government colleges and government aided private colleges has been taken by the state government. Under this, free admissions will be ensured in first, second and third year of the graduate level and first and second year of regular and self financed courses of post graduate level.

It is mandatory for parents of the student to get registered in the Labour department as an unorganized labourer. This benefit will be provided at the time of admission after ensuring the eligibility.
