JAMMU: A MoU was signed between an online shopping app Meesho and Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) for the empowerment of 1800 Self Help Groups (SHGs’) members in the Union Territory
The MoU was signed in presence of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Arun Kumar Mehta, officials of Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission and Meesho.
Office of LG J&K in a tweet said An MoU between @MDJKSRLM & @Meesho_Official for the empowerment of 1800 SHGs’ members in the UT was signed today. It will help in building lives & livelihood for rural communities & provide greater access to economic activities, and financial independence to rural women entrepreneurs.
