SRINAGAR: An 18-months-old girl was killed after being allegedly hit by a school bus in the Lankreshpora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday, official sources said.
They said that the minor was grievously injured after the incident. She was immediately rushed to District Hospital Bandipora where she was referred to Srinagar hospital, they said. However, she died on way, they added.
Meanwhile, a police officer while confirming the incident told that the accused driver has been arrested and the school bus has been seized. “Further investigations have been set into motion”. It was not immediately known how the girl was at the spot. (GNS)
