Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Steel Dharmendra Pradhan along with Union Minister for Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi and Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Mansukh L. Mandaviya today reviewed the progress of the coal gasification and urea manufacturing projects being executed by the Talcher Fertilizer Limited in Odisha.
Reviewing the progress, Union Minister Mr. Pradhan said that once completed, it will be India’s first coal gas based fertilizer plant with petcoke blending. He hoped that the successful completion of the project will help achieve self- sufficiency in urea production, create employment and facilitate the development of Odisha.
