JAMMU: An low-intensity earthquake hit parts of Jammu region on Wednesday morning, but there were no reports of any damage or loss of life or property.
Officials said that an earthquake, measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale hit Jammu region on Wednesday morning around 9:15 am.

Its epicentre was at a depth of 10 Kilometers of Kathua, and light tremors were felt in various areas of Jammu, the National Center for Seismology said.
