Senior National conference leader and Member legislative assembly (MLA) Kangan, Mian Altaf Ahmed has expressed disappointment and flayed the Bar Council of India (BCI) for ignoring all the facts and proofs in its report submitted to the Supreme Court.
Mian Altaf said that the BCI has ignored all the facts and proof in its report and that is very disappointing and unacceptable.
Mian Altaf said that the BCI has submitted a wrong report to Supreme Court, adding that there is no mention of the lawyers protest and the obstruction to the crime branch from filing the charge sheet.
Mian Altaf requested the Supreme Court to appoint a senior judge who will inquire why the BCI submitted a wrong report and ignored all the facts and proofs in it.
“BCI has exceeded their mandate and brief, adding that the report shouldn’t be accepted or relied as it even didn’t hear any crime branch investigators” the statement said.
