SRINAGAR: The weatherman here has predicted dry weather conditions till September 11.
In a daily advisory issued by the Meteorological department, the weatherman stated that the weather conditions in the next two weeks favor harvesting crops and outdoor activities. The light rainfall was recorded at several places, including the summer capital of J&K, Srinagar, in the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday.
However, the weatherman has stated that there is no forecast of any major rainfall in the next two weeks, saying that the weather would remain mainly dry till September 11 in J&K.
Mainly clear & dry weather is expected for the next week, while a brief light rain may occur at isolated places on certain occasions, although chances are very low, the MeT official said.
He further said that overall, there is no forecast of any major rain/snowfall for the next two weeks, but subdued rainfall will continue for another two weeks in J&K—(KNO)
