Flags-off Tiranga Rally at Pahari Hostel Branwari

KUPWARA: As part of ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ campaign, Pahari Hostel Kupwara today organized a Tiranga Rally of students, which was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan.

Chairman MC Kupwara, Reyaz Ahmad Mir; District Information Officer, Iftakhar Naseem; EO, Naveed Aijaz; CO CRPF 162 Bn, Vinod Kumar and Town Commander were present on the occasion.

The Tiranga Rally started at Pahari Hostel Branwari and culminated at General Bus Stand Kupwara.

Speaking at the occasion, the DC said that the rally is part of ‘Meri Maati, Meera Desh’ campaign to honour the martyrs of freedom struggle and local heroes. She appealed to the people to actively support the campaign to make it a grand success. Meanwhile, the DC administered Panch Pran Pledge to the participants including officers.
