Mehbooba urges Sinha, Shah to reconsider decision of blacklisting contractors

SRINAGAR: PDP President Mehbooba Mufti on Friday urged the authorities in Jammu and Kashmir and in New Delhi to reconsider a decision wherein contractors in the Jammu and Kashmir have been blacklisted.

Mehbooba has referred to Home Minister Amit Shah and Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha.

In a tweet, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba said, “Met a group of contractors who are suffering because they’ve been blacklisted by LG admin on trivial grounds. Urge @OfficeOfLGJandK& @AmitShah to reconsider a decision that will wreak havoc with the lives of innocents”.

In this regard, Mehbooba Mufti has written a letter to Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha.
