Mehbooba Mufti detained during protest against anti-encroachment drive in Delhi

SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Party Chief Mehbooba Mufti was on Wednesday detained along with party workers at Vijay Chowk in New Delhi.

Reports said that former Chief Minister of erstwhile state, Mehbooba Mufti held a protest in Delhi against the J&K administration’s anti-encroachment drive. There is ‘gunda raj’ in J&K, Mehbooba said, adding that Kashmir is being destroyed like Afghanistan.

Mehbooba Mufti along with PDP workers was detained by the Delhi police. (KDC)
