Mega Block Diwas: Dr Bilal listens to issues of people for early redressal

KULGAM: In order to provide governance at the door steps of people and to take first hand appraisal of public grievances for early redressal, the District Administration Kulgam today organized Mega grievances redressal camps in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D.H.Pora.

The programme witnessed overwhelming response from PRIs and general public who highlighted issues and grievances confronting their areas for early redressal.

IAS Probationers also attended the Block Diwas proceedings to have firsthand experience of conduct of Block Diwas and grievances redressal mechanism.

Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat remained available at Kulgam where he gave patient hearing to people.

Officers from District Administration were also present during the Block Diwas.

People from Yarikhah, Bugam, Yaripora, Frisal, Behibagh, Ashthal, Chawalgam, Homeshalibugh, Bumrath and various areas participated in the grievances redressal camp and put up various issues of public importance.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed various issues of immediate nature on the spot.

Earlier, ACD Kulgam Mohammad Imran Khan briefed about the action taken on the issue and grievances raised by people during previous block diwas.

Meanwhile, Block Diwas was also held at Block D.H.Pora and Devsar where ADC, Viqar Ahmed Giri and SDM, Bashir ul Hassan respectively listened to issues and grievances of people for redressal.
