Mega Block Divas held at Kulgam

KULGAM, JANUARY 13: The District Administration Kulgam today organised Mega Block Diwas at 3 blocks of the district to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.

During the Block Diwas, functions were organised at Devsar, Kulgam and D.H.Pora blocks of the district and officers, officials from line departments listened to the issues, grievances and demands of the general public for their timely redressal at all the three venues.

Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, remained available at Tehsil Complex Kulgam.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the main objective of the programme is to mitigate the issues and grievances of the people.

He also listened to the grievances and issues of people for redressal. Several certificates including Domicile, RBA, income and other certificates were distributed among beneficiaries during the Block Divas.
