A young man named Moomin Ahmed said that his aunt is admitted to SMHS and he has been waiting for an oxygen cylinder for the last 3 hours.
At the same time, the administration officials seem to be denying the increasing demand for oxygen and the shortage present, but the ground reality is different.
Meanwhile, District Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar Ejaz Asad has tweeted and claimed to have successfully tested the newly installed oxygen plant at SMHS Hospital.
He wrote in his tweet, ‘The oxygen plant of SMHS Hospital has been successfully tested. From today onwards, we will be able to supply 1000 LPM in the existing oxygen suppl,”.
He appreciated the team of the Department of Mechanical Engineering for this task, who made the plant functional within 96 hours working in double shift day and night.
