MEA hails WHO’s decision of convening global study on origin of COVID

Ministry of External Affairs today hailed WHO’s decision of convening a global study on the origin of COVID.

Ministry Spokesman said in a statement that it is an important first step.

The statement stressed the need for next phase studies as also for further data and studies to reach robust conclusions.

It further said, the follow up of the WHO report and further studies deserve the understanding and cooperation of all.
