Masud Chaudhary passes away, Nimaz-e-Jinaza at 4PM in Jammu

JAMMU: Legendary social reformer, educator and former cop, Masud Chaudhary has passed away. He was 78.

The end came at his Gandhi Nagar residence early Friday morning.

According to family sources, his Nimaz-e-Jinaza shall be performed at the Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust fore lawns at 4 PM.

Chaudhary was founder and Vice Chancellor of the Baba Ghulam Shah University at Rajouri. He retired from Jammu and Kashmir Police as Additional Director General after serving in various capacities. Chaudhary is known for contribution to the upliftment of the Gujjar community.
