Manzoor Wani deserted NC, joins People’s Conference

Srinagar: Senior National Conference leader Manzoor Ahmad Wani has deserted the party and joined Peoples Conference on Sunday here.

PC President Sajad Lone and  Imran Reza Ansari welcome Wani into the party fold. Both the leaders also spoke on current political situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Prior to that, Wani, who was vice-president of NC’s central zone, was expected to join the party today in presence of its president Sajad Gani Lone and other leaders.

Manzoor had fought 2014 Assembly Election from Khan Sahib Assembly segment and secured more than 15000 votes.

Manzoor’s joining is expected to boost the electoral prospects of PC in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
