In Doda woman dies while saving her children in house collapse

JAMMU: A man was killed while another one was injured after a house collapsed in Gadyog village of Rajouri district on Saturday.

A concrete house collapsed while the repairing works were being carried out in the adjacent mud house, said officials.

“A concrete house collapsed when two members of a family were repairing their adjacent mud house. The duo were trapped under the debris of the house,” they said.

They said in the incident a man died, while another one was critically injured, who was rushed to a nearby healthcare facility.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Riaz (32), son of Abdul Rashid and injured as Naseer Hussain (32), son of Mohammad Rakeem.
