Major search operation launched in Jammu outskirts after suspected drone movement


JAMMU, May 16: The security forces on Sunday morning launched a major combing operation in the outskirts of Jammu city after suspected movement of a drone in the area.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the operation was launched by Jammu and Kashmir police, army and BSF in villages of Domana sub-division of Jammu with some of the area falling towards the International Border.

They said that security agencies received an information of a drone movement during midnight hours following which an alert was issued and joint teams of army, police and BSF were constituted to launch the operation.

The operation was going on in the area when the last reports came in—(KNO)
