Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called upon people to strictly follow Corona guidelines. While reviewing the Covid situation and arrangements in the state, he stressed the need for intensified public awareness campaign about Corona protocols. State government has exempted from Sunday lockdown those going out for vaccination.
Chief Minister directed officials of the district to take strict measures for prevention of infection. He said that penalty should be imposed for not wearing mask and the person should also be kept in open prison for some time. Poor patients will be given free medical treatment on the basis of Ayushman card. Also, the number of beds is being increased by contracting with private hospitals where beds are vacant as per the requirement.
The Vaccination centers will remain open in places where there is a lockdown on Sunday. People above 45 years of age would be able to get vaccinated at their nearest health centre.
