Govt issues avalanche warning for 7 districts of J&K, Ladakh

SRINAGAR: The authorities on Thursday issued a low danger level warning in seven districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Avalanche with *LOW Danger Level* is likely to occur above 2500 to 3500 metres above sea level over GANDERBAL, BANDIPORE, KUPWARA, DODA, KISHTWAR, POONCH and RAMBAN districts in next 24 hours, an official informed.

People living in these areas are advised to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas till further orders, he said.
