Jammu: The Veena Jamawal Sarpanch of village Birpur upper in Samba district dreams to make her village best in the manner of development.
“The Journey of life is not easy. I was teacher before contesting my first election as Sarpanch,” she said.

She added “I was tired of daily routine as a teacher, in the same time I was inspired by my husband who is renowned sculptor.”
In meantime, villagers suggested us to contest election as this village seat reservation for female.
“Then, I fill form and started campaign for election. But we honestly ask villagers, if we deserve then caste vote in favour of us,” she added.
Sharing experience, the counting day was unforgettable for me.
After winning elections of Sarpanch, she added that this my responsibility of address the problem of voters.
